Mark A. Summers
Founder and CEO
With nearly thirty years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Mark is widely recognized as a veteran entrepreneur and thought leader in the area of accelerating clinical trial patient enrollment. As the founder and CEO of ThreeWire, Inc., he has led the company through the development and patenting of its proprietary model for maximizing clinical trial patient enrollment. His clinical trial experience in the industry and at ThreeWire covers a wide range of therapeutic areas and including patient recruitment for more than 100 study protocols that have screened in excess of 250,000 patients in partnership with over 500 sites in 10 countries.
Prior to founding ThreeWire, Mark held executive positions at two early stage medical device firms where he drove more than $100 million in global growth following completion of extensive clinical trials.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Michigan and is also a United States Navy veteran where he spent 7 years flying F-14s from various aircraft carriers and at Topgun.

Bruce K. Gould
Vice President, Client Programs
Pharmaceutical and Biotech Enrollment Services
Bruce brings over 15 years of experience in the clinical trials, operations, site management and CRO services areas. Bruce is responsible for developing and maintaining key customer relationships in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology areas through providing customers with strategic solutions to meet their enrollment challenges based on his experience with over 100 trials across a broad spectrum of therapeutic areas.
Prior to joining ThreeWire, Bruce was Director of Account Management in the Specialty Clinical Services division of United BioSource Corporation, Director of Sales for Acurian, a leader in patient recruitment, enrollment and management services, Vice President of Site Services for Comprehensive NeuroScience, Inc., and held several management positions in HealthCare Services and Pharmacy Operations at the corporate headquarters of CVS Pharmacy, a fortune 100 company headquartered in Rhode Island.
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bryant University and an MBA in International Business from Johnson & Wales University.

Kip Kinzer
Director of Information Services
Kip has more than 15 years of leadership experience in information technology. His responsibilities include managing the information technology and systems behind ThreeWire’s proprietary FASTER™ platform as well as continuously researching and developing new solutions that enable ThreeWire to improve quality and efficiency and expand service offerings.
Prior to joining ThreeWire, Kip served as Director of Network Services for a multinational company, Telex Communications. He also served as senior consultant with Connect Consulting in the business technology and application group. He provided consultative services to 3M, SUPERVALU, Seagate and others.

Lisa S. Toren
Vice President, Marketing & Patient Outreach
Lisa brings more than 20 years of experience in B2C and B2B marketing, including an extensive background in media planning, placement and promotion. Her current responsibilities include oversight of creative services, management of patient recruitment strategies, campaign execution, corporate branding and communications.
Prior to joining ThreeWire, Lisa was founder of a full-service marketing, advertising and media consultancy specializing in traditional, non-traditional and social media for customers in financial, retail, medical and biomed sectors. Lisa has held senior sales and management positions inside large multimedia conglomerates including Clear Channel Communications, Hubbard Broadcasting and Park Communications, as well as executive management of marketing and sales for a software consulting firm serving global Fortune 1000 clients.
Lisa's breadth of multi-channel media experience and direct-to-patient marketing expertise is a key benefit to ThreeWire clients looking for cost-effective, sound and practical leadership in patient outreach, recruitment and retention. Andrea Reno
Senior Manager, Site Services Department
Andrea brings to ThreeWire an extensive background in clinical trials and site services in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Andrea began her career at ThreeWire as a Site Specialist during which time she also served as a study coordinator at a site in Texas. Her responsibilities include managing ThreeWire’s Site Services Department which provides customized remote and onsite services to assist sites with efficient and expeditious identification and screening of potential study patients.
Prior to joining ThreeWire, Andrea worked in site recruitment as part of the Study Start-Up division of PRA International, a global contract research organization, and also in the Atrial Fibrillation Center at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside.
